FAQ
God is doing awesome things as he draws the congregations of the greater Granbury
area together to worship Him and to love their communities!  Plans are now underway
for our 4th Annual Kindness Explosion weekend, and we want you to join us.

There's simply no more powerful witness to the world than to see the Church of Jesus
Christ coming together as one unified Body of Christ to worship God and to reach out
together in Christ's love to the community.  That's what Kindness Explosion is all about.

This year's KE event will kick-off Friday night, April 16th at 7:00 pm with a huge
interdenominational worship service at Acton Baptist Church.  Lincoln Wiseman, one
of the area's best young worship leaders will be with us to lead worship for the
weekend.

Also of Friday night, Love Granbury is excited to announce that we will have Dr. Al
Tizon, Assistant Professor of Holistic Ministry at Palmer Theological Seminary of
Eastern University and Director of Word & Deed Network (www.worddeednetwork.org)
as our guest speaker for Kindness Explosion 2010!  Dr. Tizon is a nationally
acclaimed speaker and we are thankful that God has opened the door for us to bring
him to Granbury!  You will not want to miss hearing Dr. Al Tizon!

Then, on Saturday morning, April 17th, around 10:00 am, each congregation will go out
into the community to serve as the hands and feet of Christ while performing various
community service projects that have been arranged for them to do.  There will be
churches doing free car washes, free full service gas station service (pumping gas and
washing windshields), free grocery carry-out and cart return at local supermarkets, free
lawn mowing, free oil changes, free neighborhood cleanup, free soft drink and hot dog
give-aways, and the list goes on and on!

What service project your church does is not important...the important part is that
whatever you do, it's free!  Just like God's love is free...with no strings attached!!

The various service projects will wrap up by no later than 2:00 pm.  Then everybody will
come back to Acton Baptist Church for food and fellowship followed by a wrap-up
celebration service at 3:00 pm.  We will have reports from each congregation as well
as "open-mic" time to hear stories and testimonies from any participant about how
they saw God work through their respective service projects.  We will have a little more
music from Lincoln Wiseman and finally, a short devotional thought to wrap everything
up.

All in all, it promises to be a day you will not soon forget, and more importantly, a day
that our community will not soon forget...all to the glory of God!

If you would like additional information on how your church can be involved in Kindness
Explosion 2010, please browse our web site, or you can call Micky Shearon at

We look forward to working with you to share the love of Christ with the greater
Granbury area!
This is love: not that
we loved God, but that
he loved us and sent
his Son as an atoning
sacrifice for our sins.
Dear friends, since
God so loved us, we
also ought to love one
another.  No one has
ever seen God; but if
we love one another,
God lives in us and his
love is made
complete in us.
